Retailers have finally got in stock the latest addition to the DS Gamer family. I bet all gamers are considering whether to purchase this latest gadget or not. The new Nintendo DS has been widely available in Japanese shops for ages. During the launch, Nintendo sold hundreds of thousands of DSi's but its slowed a little now. This has much to do with the Global Credit Crunch. To help buyers, here are some of the new features in the Latest Nintendo DSi

The Nintendo DSi will still be able to play the old DS games as well as the games exclusive to it.A big downer is if you have old games for the Gameboy. The Nintendo DSi cannot convert them so you are stuffed. However, even though they have removed the cartridge slot for Game Boy Advance, I think the new downloadable games for the DSi will be so much better. There is now an SD memory card slot in the Nintendo DSi.

The Nintendo DSi is slimmer then the DS Lite. The screen on the previous Nintendo DS Lite was about 3 inches but the latest DS has a screen thats 3.25 inches. The speakers are much improved whioch means players will receive a much better sound quality.

The “latest model” benefits from having two motion detecting cameras which give the user ultimate interactivity when playing games. Also, taking photos with new handy software is much better. You can also edit photos.

The Nintendo handheld is a media powerhouse that can hold loads of music and movies. There is also the capabilities to edit your listening experience by playing with the equaliser, pitch, sound filtering, effects and speed functions.
