For World of Warcraft players looking to improve their in-game performance, or new players just looking to get the hang of the game, The Ultimate WoW Guide by Dugi is a great option. Dugi, who’s real name is Dave Farrell, has been WoWing for years at this point, with over 7000 hours of game time under his belt, so his techniques are battle tested. Even in the hands of someone who’s just started the game, the guide is able to get a character from level 1 to level 80 in a week or less.

Covering all the usual bases, Dugi’s guide has sections on questing, talent and profession development, high-speed character leveling, farming gold and earning gear, and techniques for PvP modes. Best of all, the guide comes as an in-game add-on, so you can stop leafing through print books or tabbing to PDFs. Not only does it put a marker on your map and arrow on your screen, so that you know which was it is to your next quest, it also displays information on your screen so that you don’t need to open as many guide boxes to access it.

A series of step-by-step instructions come to you from the guide, telling you what quests you need to work on, and where to go to start, end, and collect on them. Likewise, it also tracks your past quests, making sure you never accidentally are directed to repeat your work. It even auto-detects class quests for you.

When you buy The Ultimate WoW Guide, you not only get the guide itself, but you get copy ready combat macros for PvP, as well as advice on what mods and talents work best in battle. Additional material is available on the massive user supported site, including additional guides available to members: Horde and Alliance leveling guides, talent and gear guides for every class, instance guides for Burning Crusade and Wrath of the Lich King, as well as high speed gold earning, auction house strategies, and profession guides.

Dugi offers an 8-week money back guarantee on his guide, so if a user is not blown away by the improvement they see, they can get a quick refund. Also speedy is his customer support for problems, and when Dugi releases a new version of The Ultimate WoW guide, customers get the updated guide free. Dugi has made the process of becoming a WoW expert so easy, it is almost foolish not to give the guide a try.

Massive Multiplayer Online Role Playing Games or MMORPG’s as they are more commonly known, are role playing games which bring together large numbers of players via the Internet.

A defining feature of MMORPG’s is that they all offer a persistent virtual world in which to play. These worlds often support thousands of simultaneous players, all of whom are playing a single character in the game.

What Does This Mean To You when Playing Wii?
In a Wii games MMORPG you take control of a character (often known as an avatar) and guide its actions with the Wii game controller. Most games have an experience based level, that means that a player must kill a monster & be guided through certain task, so their ability will increase in return. This is usually represented by an overall skill level associated to the character, and sub levels representing individual skills.

Just like the worlds are persistent, you skills are saved, meaning that the effort & time you put into your game is permanently reflected in your character.

For example if you played a combat orientated game your overall ability to fight may be represented by a Combat Level – this level would increase each time you gained a pre-determined number of experience points, granting more powerful abilities and skills. When you logout of the Wii game everything is remembered so next time you play you can start from where you left off.

Online
As MMORPG’s connect thousands of players with the same virtual world central game servers provide a synchronized experience for everybody. It means that if you kill a monster it will vanish from your screen along with everyone else’s.

Real time chat is usually available, typed messages can be displayed to other players in and round your location.Duels and team work are common for MMORPG’s. They also allow trade between the players.

They Can Play As A Group
One of the benefits of playing an MMORPG is that every system is compatible so they players can play together..That can mean that you team up to tackle difficult enemies or you pull together your resources so that you can advance the goals of your team. These groups are either guilds or clans.

Games Inside Other Games
The MMORPGS let the players that have separate paths to follow literally define the world that they are playing in. This includes many items within games being created by the players themselves using gathered resources.

This is called Crafting and it is a popular alternative to playing combat orientated character.Crafters are usually very wealthy in game assets and would rather sell their goods for game currency or other item than dominate physically.

Wii Online or Offline?
Offline games are great for relaxation and enjoyment, but they can not offer the combination of depth and social interaction that MMORPG’s in Wii games can provide. Character progression is the essential ingredient letting you concentrate on the aspects of the game you enjoy without worrying about those you don’t.

Every character starts with similar levels and skills, but quickly you will personalize your character meaning few others will be exactly like you.

If you love playing computer games then try an MMORPG. Once you start playing you will never look back.

Our parents had a different set of problem. Back in the days of our youth almost all play took place outside the walls and protection of our house where concerns about skinned knees and bruises ran rampant, at worst we might talk to a stranger. Those are all things that our parents would be forced deal with back in the day. All grown up with families of our own we have (on top of the same problems our parents had) we have additional strain on us in the form of online video games. Online gaming usually offer two things that you might need to protect your child from. Firstly because the online gaming world is virtually anonymous you can never know if it is a bad person talking to your kids who may want to do them harm. Second is that griefers, also known as cyber bullies, can target and can make your chilled extremely miserable.

Playing video games online brings on the almost necessity of allowing people to talk to each other via chat. It is usually used to talk about strategy or barter items in the game but it can also be used to talk about non-game related stuff like TV or even about personal life. Stick to the basics before you go out and find your kids cheap street fighter 4

To protect your child form pedophiles and griefers lurking in online gaming sites here are some tips that you can follow before you go out and find used halo wars or some other games:

1. Ensure that your kids comprehend – If you are about to set rules or boundaries, make sure you set some time for you to explain why you are doing this. Explain that its not that you do not trust him, its just that you are not very trusting when it comes to other people.

2. Relocate the computer – Make sure that the computer is in the kitchen or the living room area. It makes it a lot easier to oversee your kids gameplay when you ar earound them reglaurly. Also, if the computer is in a well trafficked area, your child will also be able to interact with people in the real world.

3. Educate – Ensure your kids know that there is information they can never share with anyone online:
a. Real name
b. Contact details like address and phone number
c. State
d. Passwords
e. Social security numbers

4. Use a fake name while playing online as your login ID, not personal info.

5. Turn The Other Cheek – Ignore both strangers and bullies online. Because if there are no responses, no matter how persuasive the stranger is, they will usually become bored and leave you.

6. Keep above those below you – Make sure your kids know two rights don’t make a wrong and should never retaliate to a bully. Things only get harder as you reply.

7. Ask for help – Let your kids know that if they are faced with social problems online they should always come to your first. Let them know that you are never too busy for you and that they shouldn’t be afraid to come and ask or call you to discuss any complex issues.

Follow these tips before you allow your kids to go on the net and play games once you’ve gotten them cheap resident evil 5

There are several ways you can buy a car whether it’s from a retailer or contract hire. In a way the same goes for the way games are made, they can be realistic, pc usable or put on a console, whether their there for a laugh or not what is the best driving game?

The game that comes into my head first is not what you would expect from a driving game. Easily the most unrealistic driving game ever made. Got to be in the top three of all time and not just my personal opinion, its Mario Kart. Mario Kart proves that you dont have to have a game that looks amazing to be able to have fun with it. You have a lot of choice in the characters, karts and bikes you can have in the game. Seeing someone get hit by a giant shell or run over by you when you are giant is the most satisfying element of playing Mario Kart and is what makes it so good.

Another great game is the fantastic Forza 2 on Xbox 360. This game is brilliant as it not only looks very realistic you can play it online as well as choose every single part of the car from the paint to the engine. When playing this game you take realistic damage and as well as this you have to make pit stops to change fuel and tyres. Ranging from the Golf GT right the way up to the Lotus Elise this game has hundreds of cars to choose from. If you are using a wheel then the handling of the game becomes even more realistic. Going at 100mph round one of the games corners and you are going to see your car spin out of control and hit many others along the way.

Another good driving game is one of the Grand Turismo games as they look simply brilliant. These games have always been known for their reality and number five certainly does not steer away from this. The cars im the game look exactly the same as you would see them looking at them through a showroom window.

The same is true in real life. Some of the cars you can get are at quite affordable prices. You can get car contracting on pretty much any model nowadays ranging from mini’s right the way to Mercedes contract hire. They really are a great way to beat the downturn with prices under £300 a month you cant really go wrong.

Even though games show us all these brilliant cars and even though every car manufacturer is having huge sales, it is still expensive to buy a new car.

As long as the game is nt Tiger Woods 09 as that game is quite possibly the worst game of the entire series. A well made game for the Xbox 360 and Playstation 3, they really only apply to the people who enjoy sporting games over the shooters and others. With the new MotionPlus technology in place it means I will certainly be buying the new game for my Wii over my Xbox and PS3. What is pushing me to even consider this? It’s certainly not because I’m saving money on electric golf trolleys that’s for sure. However it is in fact due to Nintendo facing that in fact their motion sensing technology however amazing it is to five year olds, it just doesn’t work as well as it should. I wont go into how much of a disappointment Nintendo have been over the last 3-4 years however with the invention of the MotionPlus attachment for the Wii remote this makes the game respond to how you move, something which should have been researched into more before the console was released.

When the weather is grim and there is no way that you are going to be able to get out and play on the local course all you have to do is turn the Wii on and you can get going without even having to brave any of the weather. The game does show a great insight into how difficult the game actually is from choosing the right club to deciding what the wind direction is and getting all the stress a real golfer is.

The new game which is due out later this year will sell more than than last years edition that much is certain. Many people who are rubbish at the sport including myself can find that this is easier to use and even if you still fail at least it is in the safety of your living room and not in the middle of the golf course. A great bonus to having this game is that you can swear and shout as loud as you want without the worry of someone kicking you of the course for being too loud! Although watching someone fail to hit the ball very far on the Wii will be amusing it certainly will not be anywhere close to when I was an assistant greenkeeper at my local golf course and took great pleasure in watching some of the golfers fail miserably.
The best thing of all is that you no longer have to charge golf batteries up, just walk into the room, pick up the remote and have a game!

All my kids talk about getting every year for Christmas is video games if they don’t go downstairs and find Gears of War 2 under our new flocked christmas tree I do not know how they will survive. This drives me a little crazy since I like to encourage my kids to go outside. I would much rather give them a pair of new skates or golf clubs then some mind numbing thing that will enchant them in front of the television. Oh well I guess you just learn that kids are kids. Arguing with the boys over “appropriate” lengths of time is just too much work.

After saying that I guess I should get to the point that I’ve developed a few ways to control their television addiction. I do a couple of things in an effort to force them outside. First off I limit their time every day to one hour (they can earn more). I have discovered that limiting the time is key to everything else because then they know time above and beyond that is to be earned. I do give them some ways to earn more time in front of the television. That leads me into my second trick. They can get more television time by either doing chores or spending time outside. I like the chores option because it is nice for me to have a few less things to do, and the reward for them isn’t bad either. I intentionally made it with the purpose of them getting around one hour of television time for every one hour they spend on chores.

The number two way they get more television time is by spending some of their time outside. For every hour they spend outside they get fifteen minutes of video games. I know that it isn’t a huge payoff for the boys, but they like being outside and I do not think it’s a lot for me to ask of them. This mostly pays off for them on weekends. They spend all day outside on Saturdays and earn themselves a couple of hours in front of the television. Realistically a night of playing games and watching movies isn’t so bad after a full day outside.

Anyway I guess that I don’t mind a game or two under the artificial flocked christmas tree this year , that is if it allows for the positives of getting the boys outside and making them a little more obedient. I hope they like their games, because I am going to like my “gift” of a little more control around the house.

This isn’t me complaining about the domestic rolls women and men normally hold, but because of a few things. Here is my opinion on my more and more females are playing video games.

Really all I use my computer for is my investing software, but my wife likes to play games to that lead me to my question. The number one reason is the growing interest that women have in tech. More girls are learning about new and varied fields, leading them to higher self esteem and knowing they can do whatever boys can. When we say technology, not only washing machines, vacuum cleaners and microwave ovens are the things that women are involved with. The graphics and sound effects that the video games have are cool and girls seem to be as attracted to them as men are. They are not afraid to tinker with the buttons or make mistakes, so long as they are learning.

A big factor is financial stability. As girls hold paying jobs they can both afford to play video games, and deserve to as a stress reliever. That being said one can be sure that there are times when the natural thoughts will kick in along with a preference for more essential items before indulging in tech. This is a major reason why more girls are playing xBox as it is one of the negatives of achievement.

The third major reason is that game development has focused a lot more on women than it used to. Lots of games focus on action and adventure, mostly they are set in the war field. There are a lot of women in the world (ha ha yeah 52%) so game developers are starting to see this large potential market, and so more games are being created for them. Softer graphics and more feminine story-lines are targeted, although the games of these themes can still be played even by men.

The number four reason is pure enjoyment, the same reason as most men. Sewing, cooking and cleaning are no longer an area of “entertainment” for women, so their hobbies have grown along with the forwarding of technology. Don’t be surprised to find a woman with a gaming console during her free time.

Fifth reason why more women are playing video games is to be in a competition against the men. Although this competition is friendly, they take place and all try to get a high achievement and that achievement makes them winners.

The way that society thinks has changed. Forgotten are the times when men didn’t like women to do things besides take care of the house and family. When more girls play video games, there is now a point of interest shed between males and females that they can compete in. Video games give women one more topic for girls to discuss with men on dates alongside of sports, movies, politics, and other ventures that men and women can share. So, aside from the psychological and social relevance of women being able to play video games, having fun outweighs all the other reasons and the objections as well. For christmas this year it looks like I’ll have to find a copy of cheap legend of zelda.

The more graphic the effects, the better. The race to increased market sales is on for different gaming manufacturers as almost every month, state-of-the-art technology are incorporated with each video game. Sometimes characters come almost to life and the player is given so many details that most people would rather not see – like gory scenes. Places like walmart get these games off their shelves as fast as they can stock them, but it leaves some people saying that the games are too violent?

Naturally, there are two opposing sides on this question. On one hand are those who believe that the games aren’t, specifically the gamers and the developers themselves. Their reason is that discipline depends on the player and that this would determine up to what extent the influence could be. It has become a matter of self-control and a measure of putting things into proper perspective. If there are gamers who are reported to be violent after a couple of hours playing, then the assumption would be the lack of discipline, and not because of the game itself.

On the other hand however, this point is the same argument as those who believe that video games are too violent. The powerful emotional response is brought on by the action and effects that is so realistic that people cant detach themselves from it. Reality is depicted as it is, and sometimes even more exaggerated to an extent, to achieve the credits for full effects without realizing that a gamer might not be able to distinguish which is happening in “real life” from those that occur only in the game.

Both sides do have a valid point, although this still does not answer the question whether video games are violent or not. The debate can go on, but to be helpful to gamers, there are several ways with which any retaining effects can be prevented. To start our everyone should pick a upper limit for how much they will play games daily. These are especially for people who have not much will-power to identify reality from not. Sticking to a regement will help you learn discipline.

Secondly is to know when enough is enough. As soon as you find yourself too highly involved in the death of a character or in a loss against an opponent, breathe. Not only does it clear your mind, it helps your body normalize as well after the surge of adrenaline. Three is for the kids who have parents that let them play these games. From an early age in life, children need to be tought dicipline and structure. The impressions may be hard to remove once it affects a child deeply and without guidance, so the task then falls upon the parents. If you want a game that is fun and not overly violent then you should think about buy legend of zelda namely buy the adventure of link.

Being objective can be hard when you are talking about violence and tech as there are many opinions. What can be sure, though, is that individual’s should have their own mastery of technology so that thy won’t have to ask if video games are too violent.
