<p>Even if you empty the recycle bin , format the drive or use the drive for a number of years after the files deletion, the document can still be retrieved.</p>
<p>Computer data is seldom totally erased, which a large number of lets say “less than trustworthy characters” have found out much to their dismay when there criminal activities so carefully deleted are there for all to see once recovered by a computer forensics expert.</p>
<p>However the quality of the retrieved file, e.g page layout or the  functions within cells within a spreadsheet will depend on how many times the particular sector where your file was stored is subsequently re used (overwritten), however just because a file gets over written does not mean it is gone. </p>
<p>Get a data recovery expert or lab involved at the earliest opportunity to ensure the safe recovery of your data.</p>
