Types of PvP Combat

April 4, 2009 · Filed Under Tech News · Comment

You can get into PvP combat in various different settings. Knowing something about the different settings will help you find or avoid combat as you wish, and help you understand what others mean when they talk about battlegrounds or World PvP or whatever. Here’s your introduction to each setting:

Fighting Duels

Duels are one-on-one battles. You can duel pretty much anywhere you want, except within cities. You’ll often find players who are looking for a duel hanging around outside the entrances to major cities looking for someone to challenge.

Battlegrounds

The battlegrounds are areas where Horde and Alliance compete to earn marks. You can use marks sort of like money, and trade them in for various items, including better PvP gear. You can only use marks at the special PvP vendor shops.

The Arenas

Arena combat is an organized, ongoing tournament. Teams (2v2, 3v3, 5v5) battle to earn Arena Points. Points are awarded by team, so fighting as part of a team rather than earning individual glory is the goal. When in the Arena, you can encounter teams from your own faction as well as teams from the enemy faction.

Random PvP

Any time you encounter a player from the other faction who has their PvP flag on, you can do battle with them. In PvP realms, you PvP flag is automatically on, except when you are in certain protected areas. You can manually turn your PvP flag on and off by typing /pvp. Regardless of what you do, various situations and locations will turn your PvP flag on automatically, even if you aren’t playing in a PvP realm.

World PvP

If you visit the Eastern Plaguelands, Silithus, Hellfire Peninsula, Zangarmarsh, Terokkar Forest, or Nagrand, you will find goals that require PvP combat. If you want to achieve those goals, you had better be ready to fight.

PvP Zones

Wintergrasp is the first of a new type of zone that is totally dedicated to PvP combat. Expect more in the future.

Where Can You Get More Information?

You should now have a basic understanding of the different settings where you can find PvP combat. But there’s so much more to learn if you really want to dominate PvP combat, or even hold your own against more experienced players. To learn everything you need to know, including the newest strategies & tactics that will show you how to dominate all aspects of PvP, visit PvP-Bible.info

Under Review: the Revolutionary Warcraft Formula

March 28, 2009 · Filed Under Tech News · Comment

World of Warcraft (WoW) is definitely one of the most popular games ever. With millions of players and heaven knows how much money involved, every possible niche related to the game must be filled. Or not. As it turns out, there was still one niche open. But not anymore.

Before today, there was no real way for players to get up to date strategies and information about various of the game directly from real experts. Thanks to the creation of Warcraft Formula, that niche is now very well filled.

The idea is so simple and sensible I’m surprised someone didn’t do it before. You pay a small upfront fee for full access to the complete library of Warcraft Formula guides going back to the release of Wrath of the Lich King. After that, each month you get the newest guide in the series for an additional $17. Each of these monthly guides comes with PvP strategies, recent game-related news, class strategies, recent gold making options, action plans, and information that’s as fresh as it comes, written as often as it is.

When you join the Warcraft Formula family, you get a copy of the Action Plan, a detailed guide that shows anyone (even raw beginners) how they can build their account from the ground up to be as effective as the pros out there. What Warcraft Formula does is nothing short of impressive. By creating this monthly service, they’ve made it much easier for players of all skill levels to start out with nothing and relatively quickly work their way up to pro status. And since the Formula gives you fresh strategies and information every month, players who join will have a leg (or two) up on all their competitors.

Let’s make one thing perfectly clear. The Warcraft Formula isn’t a guide to one single aspect of the game. That is, you don’t get a leveling guide or a gold guide or PvP guide alone. You get information on all of these subject and more. Even better, because you get monthly updates (in the form of an ebook running around 30 pages) you’re getting strategies and advice that no one else has seen yet. This gets you around the biggest failing of traditional, single-topic guides which is that they quickly get out of date and are mostly nerfed by the time you get your hands on them.

One last thing to think about. Any guide is only as accurate as the people who create it. Well there are no worries on that front. This guide is written by Brad Johnson and T Dub Sanders, the guys behind Warcraft Millionaire and PvP Bible. In case you don’t recognize their names, these guys are big in WoW guides. As top PvP and game gold experts, you can’t do better than these two guys when it comes to a authoritative source for the best news and information about the game.

If you want to be part of the next big thing in Warcraft guides, you’ve come to the right place. This is the product you want. Don’t miss out on Warcraft Formula. Leave your opponents in the dust. check it out!

The All New Warcraft Formula: a Whole New Kind of Warcraft Guide

March 22, 2009 · Filed Under Tech News · Comment

World of Warcraft is a land of elites. The game has been online for four years now and it sure seems like some players have been playing every second of those 4 years, pretty much destroying anyone or anything in their path to become the elite players in this game world. Is it any wonder that those of us who can’t or won’t make that time commitment look for something, anything to help them improve in the game and gain a little ground on the elite players in WoW. Luckily, every now and then a guide actually comes along that can help regular people become a top player in this world of elites. The Warcraft Formula is the newest, and arguably best, of the guides.

The Warcraft Formula will always be the newest guide because it isn’t a single guide. It’s an entire series of guides, with a new one created and delivered to you every month. This is really an ingenious solution when you think about it. You pay an upfront fee to get something called the Fast Track Action Plan, along with all the currently available guides. The Fast Track Action Plan is designed to get players of any level started in the game with the minimum of problems and mistakes, with advice on topics like how to build out your character, modify your UI, the right class and professions to go for, to detailed advice on how to get to join a guild, get your feet wet in PvP without getting humiliated, and get invited on raids. Then each month you get a new guide stuffed with the latest game info.

I’ve seen the initial materials. They were full of high-quality content. Each of the guides holds about 30 pages of material and included three features, the top news stories of the month, questions from readers, an action plan and a sneak peek at what the next installment of Warcraft Formula will cover. Each of the feature articles was full of useful content on all sorts of important topics, from how to develop a powerful strategy for your Death Knight to the art of weaving together a 10-person raid. While they don’t tell you everything in the most minute detail, but you still get a lot more than you find in the general strategies of the guides already on the market. To top things off, you get a whole bunch of extras with the guide. The first extra was the Fast Track Action Plan.

To wrap up this review, let me say that this is an impressive new idea that provides something I’ve never seen before in a WoW product: a never-ending stream of continually updated information straight from the mouths of real experts. You get a new ebook every month, chock full of information you actually want and need, that isn’t already obsolete or nerfed to uselessness for a small monthly fee, . Grabbing this fast will definitely help you pull yourself ahead of the competition and move toward the ranks of the Warcraft elite. Click here to make your move.

Druid, Use This PvP Guide to Dominate Player Versus Player

February 27, 2009 · Filed Under Tech News · Comment

Fighting PvP as a Druid offers many options and opportunities, along with a lot of complexity. Druids are very tough to kill in the arena, and can resist many of the magical skills used by their opponents. With their varied abilities, including being able to switch forms, heal, and even tank when necessary, they can do it all in PvP. Unfortunately, that very versatility makes your Druid a prime target, and makes Druid PvP play extra exciting.

One disadvantage of the Druid’s flexibility is that their best strategy for dealing with each opposing class varies. That means to get the absolute best out of your Druid (and why settle for anything less?) you need to master many PvP techniques. That’s work, but not impossible. Of course, if you have team mates, you need to be able to adapt your tactics to take into account their abilities too. You can do this on your own, but it takes a while to figure it all out by yourself.

Many people believe that Druids have the best talents for 2v2 arena play. A sizable minority would make a case that Rogues are better, but the Druid adds more depth and variety to any 2 person team. A well designed Druid using strong strategy and tactics can own its opponents in duels, and lead a high-end 2v2 arena team. These same attributes make Druids great additions to 3v3 or 5v5 teams.

That’s the good thing about play a Druid. But don’t forget that Druids have weaknesses too. To be the best in PvP, you’ll need to understand and work around your Druid’s weaknesses as well as capitalize on strengths. Your choice of gear can go a long way toward solving that riddle, once you know which gear is the right gear. As always, you can learn everything you need to know while you play, if you’re willing to invest a lot of time.

If you don’t have the time to spare, you can invest in a PvP guide that will show you what you need to know to compete with the top Player versus Player competitors. If you have a life outside the gaming world, you need a Druid in PvP guide. The ultimate Druid Guide has all the information you need to quickly boost your Druid to the top of the PvP ranks, and assuredly contains information you would never stumble on by yourself.
