The Best Players Use The PvP Bible

January 27, 2010 · Filed Under Tech News · Comment

When you step into the PvP arena of World of Warcraft, you will come up against players who are worse than you, players who are your match, and players who simply blow you away. These last players obviously know something about PvP combat that you don’t. It may be that they have access to the PvP Bible. Why don’t you consider getting your own copy today?

The PvP Bible has been created by a long time WoW gamer, T. S. Sanders. In his PvP Bible promotional website he tells you the three things you need to know to excel at PvP: “You have to know your opponent, know yourself, and be willing to learn from your mistakes.”

Only you can exhibit a readiness to learn from trial and error, but Sanders has given you a huge leg up by compiling all the information he has gleaned about all the opponents and classes you will face in the PvP arena.

The creator the PvP Bible, T. S. Sanders, has spent hundreds of hours putting together the contents of his book. He compiled all of the information through playing PvP and noting the strengths and weaknesses of his opponents and himself.

All five battlegrounds are also outlined and many strategies to win these terrains are given. No matter what your team’s style and archetype is, the PvP Bible has arena strategies for you. There are even 81 duel match-ups described in exacting detail.

Now he has taken all of this hard-earned information and put it into one easy to read source for the rest of us. Sander’s bible is full of the tips and tricks he has amassed over four years of playing WoW. All we have to do is read and study it.

Sanders is so sure that his PvP Bible will help you to dominate in the arena, that he offers a money-back guarantee if you are not completely satisfied. He also gives his assurance that all of his techniques are completely legal and will not jeopardize the validity of your account. So what are you waiting for; get the PvP Bible today and step into the arena with confidence.

Modern PvP: Your Hunter Can Rule

November 1, 2009 · Filed Under Tech News · Comment

Player versus Player (PvP) combat is in your Hunter’s future, even if you’ve avoided it so far. Wrath of the Lich King (WotLK) has brought more advanced, real time battles to the game.

The first real time PvP battle zone is Lake Wintergrasp. There players go at it on the live server (no instancing) to earn points that allow them to buy a wide variety of special items such as the new Heirloom items that any of the player’s characters in that account from level 1 to 80 and beyond can use.

Given the popularity of Lake Wintergrasp and the increasing amount of PvP combat in other popular games, you’ll surely see more even more PvP in WoW in the future. Here’s what you need to know to handle your Hunter in this new world:

Playing a Hunter class character in World of Warcraft Player versus Player combat requires many of the same skills real hunter possess. You need to be able to quickly pick out a target and understand its likely behavior so you can anticipate what it will do next. In addition, you need to know your own capabilities and the capabilities of your gear. And you need to be able to maneuver into the optimal position to take out your target without becoming a target yourself.

But playing a hunter in PvP involves much more than that. Understanding the best time to deploy your Freezing and Frost Traps and essential crowd control devices is necessary but not enough. You need to know how to maintain the ideal distance between you and your prey to cause the most possible DPS damage in each battle. And you must do all this against an intelligent character, rather than a wild animal.

If you want to be really successful in Hunter PvP combat, you need to know the strategy and tactics for killing each class of opponent. In particular you need to understand how Druids, Warriors, and Rogues are most likely to approach you. And you need to know how to respond against those classes that can charge into melee combat range quickly, such as Warriors and Rogues.

You can learn much of what you need to win as a Hunter in PvP simply by spending time in the arena. But I can tell you from personal experience that if you try, you had better be prepared to get crushed and humiliated for a long time. I spent many frustrating hours ranking last or near last in the standings when I tried. Once I started reading a Hunter PvP Guide, I started climbing in the standings rapidly.

Even if you do decide to learn the ins and outs of Hunter PvP combat yourself, you’ll find that a quality PvP Guide will contain information that you’re unlikely to discover on your own. It will teach you the most important things to know, saving you a big block of time you would otherwise have to spend dying in battle before you become good at PvP combat.

Understanding How You Got Into PvP Mode

May 11, 2009 · Filed Under Tech News · Comment

Has your character ever found himself or herself being mugged by hostile player characters when you didn’t even know your character was in PvP mode? Or maybe you were luckier and happened to glance at your character portrait and notice your PvP flag was set and you had to scramble to a safe area until it reset? Understanding how you get into PvP mode can literally spell the difference between happily going on your way or making an unplanned trip to the nearest graveyard. So let’s talk about how you get into PvP mode.

The ways you can get into PvP mode depend on the kind of server you’re playing on. If you are playing in a Normal (sometimes called “truce”) realm, the rules are different than there are for a PvP realm. We’ll cover the ways for a Normal realm first.

Your character will end up in PvP mode in a Normal realm if:

  • Your character attacks a player character (PC) of the opposite faction and that PC is already in PvP mode.
  • You help (by using a beneficial spell or ability on them) a PC from your faction who is already in PvP mode.
  • You attack an NPC guard or civilian that is a member of the opposing faction.
  • enter an enemy capital city.
  • You enter any one of the battlegrounds.
  • You enter Gurubashi Arena or one of the other free-for-all PvP areas where you can attack anyone, even members of your own faction.
  • You manually activate PvP mode by typing /pvp. Even if you immediately type /pvp again to exit PvP mode, your character will remain in PvP mode for five minutes (see the following explanation).

How ever your character ended up in PvP mode, they will stay there until 5 minutes after their last action that could put them into PvP mode. So if your character went into Gurubashi Arena, the PvP flag would remain on the entire time your character is in there, not clearing until 5 minutes after they left the arena (unless they did something else to trigger PvP mode).

In a PvP Realm

In a PvP realm, everything we’ve just talked about still applies. Beyond that, there are two more conditions that will raise your character’s PvP flag:

  • Entering a Contested zone.
  • Entering an Enemy zone.

So think back to when you discovered that your character was in PvP mode. With a little effort, you can probably figure out which of the above conditions you accidentally triggered to set the flag. Now what you need to do if figure out how to best defend yourself when you are in PvP mode.

Eventually your character will end up in PvP mode, so you might as well be able to stomp your foes when you are. To get the complete story on PvP, including the most current strategies & tactics that will show you how to dominate all aspects of PvP, visit PvP-Bible.info

April 26, 2009 · Filed Under Tech News · Comment

With the release of Wrath of the Lich King (WotLK), a new class of character, the Death Knight, is stalking WoW PvP. With an intriguing mix of melee and casting skills, including forbidden magics learned from the fearsome Lich King, the Death Knight brings new opportunities and problems to PvP combat. With its versatility, Death Knight PvP play can range from massive physical attacks like a Warrior, to being a support caster for a party. You can even do some limited healing. The options are many.

A major consideration when you are planning to play a Death Knight in PvP is your talent tree. With three major talent lines, Frost, Blood, and Unholy, your need to be careful to choose talents that support your play style or you will fail to benefit from this class’s unique attributes. The talents in the Blood line will give your character high DPS physical attacks similar to those of a Warrior, while Unholy talents will give you diseases and summoning to throw at your enemies. Meanwhile, specific Frost talents will aid you along either of the other lines. Depending on your specific play styles, a Frost/Unholy hybrid could be the best possible Death Knight PvP build. Regardless, knowing your PvP combat style will mightily effect how you build out your Death Knight.

Beyond deciding how to spec out your Death Knight, you need to have some idea of how to battle the other player classes, and how they are likely to challenge you. While there’s some useful information available, everything to do with playing a Death Knight in PvP is new and confusing. Advice from top PvP players who already have significant experience with Death Knights could make a huge difference in how well you do in PvP combat.

Considerations like these are why a Death Knight PvP guide can make a huge difference in your success. Even though Death Knights are relatively new player characters, many of the best WoW PvP players have been quick to test out the Death Knight class, and have some valuable information and advice for you in newly-updated PvP Guides. Getting the top guide to playing a Death Knight in PvP combat will save you many hours of trial and error as you get your character ready to dominate the arena.

Rule Player Versus Player with this Rogue PvP Guide

April 26, 2009 · Filed Under Tech News · Comment

Playing a Rogue class character in World of Warcraft PvP combat can be amazing fun. Rogues have so many unique skills (like stealth and poisoning), they can take out the enemy in ways no other class can. But all these unique skills come with a price: they can make playing a Rogue complicated. In short, playing a Rogue in PvP is an exciting challenge.

When played well, a Rogue is the best DPS (Damage Per Second) dealer.. On top of that, Rogues have a Hunter’s speed and the melee ability of a Warrior, not to mention some of the crowd control ability of a Warlock. Learn to use your Rogue’s abilities to the fullest and you’ll be able to challenge anyone for dominance in PvP combat.

What really makes Rogues so dangerous in PvP combat is their combination attacks. With the right combos, called Stunlocks, a Rogue can so thoroughly dominate certain character types that they can terminate their target before the poor victim even gets off an attack! But to do this right, you have to learn the combinations to use against each type of enemy, then execute them efficiently in the middle of a battle.

Learning all the things you need to know about Rogue PvP combat is hard. Just getting a solid handle on stunlocks is hard enough, with their precise timing and detailed positioning. But that’s just the beginning. You can’t forget the use of poisons, dropping combat, and evasion, all precision skills you need to master. Getting all this stuff sorted out by yourself isn’t easy. Fortunately for you, others have gone down this road before you, and captured all they’ve learned about using a Rogue in PvP Guide books. Getting the top Rogue Guide will save you many hours of trial and error (and many headaches) as you learn how to dominate the arena.

Learn how your Rogue can come to dominate the PvP battlefield and achieve more than a 2200 honor rating in as little as 38 days with the PvP Bible. Visit ThePvPBible.com to learn more about this great Rogue PvP Guide, which includes coverage of Wrath of the Lich King, or order your copy of the Guide here.
