It was a Thursday night and I was settled in for a night of Xbox when all of a sudden the red ring of death hit. Well I was a little peeved so I jumped online to see if I could find, something, anything to help…

There are many Xbox repair guides on the market that claim to fix your Xbox quickly and it is often hard to determine who is telling the truth and who isn’t. Chris Jones has written one of the Xbox guides on the market, the 3 Red Light Fix guide. I gave the guide a test run and I have described what I found below:

The first thing that strikes you about this guide is that it claims to be able to fix your guide in just 37 minutes. The first thing I wanted to find out was is this true?

I tried the guide and I was unable to have my Xbox repaired in 37 minutes (it took me a little over an hour). I will admit that I was very cautious and if you consider yourself a technical wiz you would easily be able to do it in under an hour.

When considered in the scheme of things it does not really matter whether it takes you 37 minutes or 1 hour as it takes Microsoft 6 weeks to fix your Xbox.

The guide itself was easy to follow with the instruction offered both in video and PDF format. I found the instructions showed you what to do step by step which is great if you have never fixed an Xbox before. Chris also offers full 24 hour online customer support which is also very assuring.

One of the most important factors when purchasing products online is ensuring there is a money back guarantee and Chris’ guide offers an 8 week money back guarantee.

The biggest issue with this guide is that if you decide to buy and use it, it will mean you will need to open your Xbox and this will result in your warranty being voided. This is perhaps the biggest decision you will have to make, whether or not you want to void your warranty.

The guide contains simple instructions and I found the guide to be very good. If you do decide to purchase an Xbox repair guide then I can recommend this guide.

Happy gaming and if you are looking for more information about the red ring of death have a look at: RROD
